Working with the Countdown 2030 Project Co-ordinator and the External Relations Director for the European Network Regional Office , the Advocacy Advisor, Financing for Development/SRHR, will advise and support the Federation and for the Countdown 2030 Europe Consortium on SRHR financing trends, policies and trajectories. This role coordinates and guides research, policy analysis, and development of advocacy positions and briefings, mainly in the context of the Countdown 2030 Europe project and will works closely in support of the consortium.

Come and join us as our Senior UN Advocacy Advisor based within the UN. IPPF’s Senior UN Advocacy Adviser will lead advocacy activities at the UN in New York to support and advance Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and Reproductive Justice (SRHRJ) and gender equality within UN contexts, strengthen the normative SRHRJ framework, and build national commitment to and support for SRHRJ. The Senior Advocacy Officer will contribute to achieve IPPF’s intergovernmental advocacy strategic priorities in line with Strategy2028 by working in collaboration with civil society, member states, and UN agencies so that normative standards lead to progressive policy and program changes to achieve SRHRJ for all in countries around the world.

One of the pillars under this realignment process includes building greater efficiency within the internal functions including Finance, People management and Information Technology. Under finance the overall direction of travel is to ensure moving towards a unified way of working, building core policies and practices that record and provide financial information accurately and on timely basis. This role will work very closely with and provide support to the Head of FP&A. While this role is going to be based in Delhi, it will report to the Head of FP&A position in either Delhi/ London.
